We know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions. How do I get there… what should I wear… what’s available for my kids… what should I expect in church? Here is a quick look at what you can expect at New Covenant.
How do I get there?
New Covenant Church is located at 1604 Central Texas Expressway. Click here for map and directions.
What should I wear?
First and foremost, New Covenant is a warm, welcoming place. We believe God calls us to pursue Him just as we are, inside and out. What matters to God and to us is that you are here. Most people will dress in casual weekend attire, so dress how you feel comfortable and you’ll fit right in.
What should I expect?
You will soon discover that our main desire is for you to experience the life-changing presence of Jesus Christ. We meet each Sunday morning at 10:00 am to celebrate the Lord together, as well as to grow in the word!
What’s available for my kids?
We have an excellent kid’s experience that your child will love. Babes in Christ, is for new babies, In His Steps for walkers – 3 yrs, and SPARK is for 4 yrs – 2nd grade.
SPARK also meets Wednesday at 6:30pm and is available for ages 4yrs-5th grade during this meeting.
As soon as you walk into the lobby, you will see Kid’s Check-in stations. Our friendly check-in team will help you check your child into a secure creative and fun environment designed just for them.
Transformed is for students in grades 6-8 and "ONE" is for students grades 9-12. They meet on Sunday evenings. Click here for more details regarding children and students.
Where have we been and where are we going?
We have always known where we are now is only because of where our journey as a church began. We recognize the importance of appreciating our rich history as a church body, and to remember where we started.
Everything we have, everything we know, is built on the foundation of the generations that have gone before. The hope of the generations to follow is that each generation accepts the responsibility to pass on to the next the glory and reality of life in Christ.
One of the ways we are moving toward that goal is "Generations"
"Generations"involves a building expansion, but it is more than just about expanding facilities. It’s about raising our faith, reaching out to our community, and continuing to build people! The building expansion will be the tangible result of a spiritual journey and vision to touch the generations for Jesus Christ!
